Yichao Xu is a lecturer at the School of Information Systems & Technology Management, UNSW Business School. She received her Ph.D. degree in Information Systems and Analytics from the National University of Singapore. Her work focuses on platform-based business models, seeking to understand platform-complementor relationships and estimating the business value created through digital technologies. She is also interested in IT professionals’ career patterns and professional identity in the labor market.
