Ms. Soumya Somarajan is a Research Officer at the University of New South Wales. She is currently working on The Moving Forward Project, where she contributes her expertise to cutting-edge research in Forensic Mental Health. She has also worked as a Research Fellow with the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Research Team, deepening her experience in forensic mental health.

Soumya has over twelve years of experience working with Justice Health. Her career has been marked by involvement in numerous innovative projects and she has witnessed several significant milestones in the field. 

Outside her professional work, Soumya is an avid reader who finds inspiration and relaxation in literature.
