Dr. Sultan Alotaibi is an Assistant Professor and Optometrist at the Optometry Department of King Saud University. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Sultan Alotaibi is an Assistant Professor and Optometrist at the Optometry Department of King Saud University. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
His research focuses on tear film cytokines, proteins, and neuropeptides in ocular and systemic conditions. Sultan specialises in the changes in inflammatory markers of the ocular surface, particularly concerning corneal immune cells and corneal nerves. Sultan also investigates the role of telomerase complexes in cell lines and the tear film.
His current research addresses several conditions, including dry eye disease, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and aging.

Master's Degree in Clinical Optometry, Salus University (Pennsylvania College of Optometry), Philadelphia, USA.
